Web analytics playing a bigger role in Internet marketing strategy

Marketers looking for faster and better results

70% of respondents to a recent survey on web analytics have changed their vendor over the last two years. For most companies, the objective has been to obtain a more powerful web analytics tool.   Intelligent enterprise

Fast reporting, real time data and user friendliness are the three main advantages of today’s web analytics packages.

Apparenlty 62% are now happy with their web stats.  The other 38% should take a look at Merlin Online Metrics, a web analytics package originally created for the travel and tourism industry.  

It tracks campaigns from first touch all the way to conversion in a very user friendly interface. 

We are using it to track online press releases and click throughs.  "You can’t manage what you can’t measure."  Good stats are essential to good strategy. Without the data you may head off in the wrong direction.

We are partnering with A Couple of Chicks to get Merlin up and running for our clients in the US.  We’ll be showing some tracking with Merlin at SES New York.
