Notes from the AMA blog event
While we were at dinner the night before the blog event, Bill Flitter of Pheedo gave us his great definition of RSS
"RSS is Santa Claus content, delivered to you by the postal carrier, via your own personal remote control ordering system."
Ben McConnell of Church of the Customer expanded on this idea and said RSS is more like a Fed-Ex delivery than the postal service. You can still get spam in your mail, but with Fed-Ex you get only what you ordered.
Excellent point, Ben.
