RSS, Blogging and PR

September 30, 2004 by Sally Falkow

Business blogging a vital piece of Internet Marketing Strategy

Roland Tangloa says  blogging and RSS are sounding the deathknell for PR.

These new technologies are changing the face of PR and Marketing and if PR professionals don’t wake up and smell the feeds, they will slide into  oblivion as technology bypasses them like an express train.

Corporate blogging is the wave of the future and as Tangloa says, ‘a rising tide will lift all boats’.

It’s time to get on that wave – or be drowned. PR agencies have to educate a few key people in their offices, or find someone to outsource to,  and start this conversation with their clients – or someone else will.

It’s already happening with optimized press releases and keyword research. Blogging and RSS are right behind that.
