Intel hatches new branding campaign

Per an article in MarketWatch, Intel Corp. formally unveiled it’s new branding campaign and logo on Tuesday as part of its strategy to push into new markets beyond its traditional business of making chips for personal computers.

The new branding strategy is about "using Intel technology to make life better, richer, and more convenient for everyone," Intel marketing chief Eric Kim said in a statement.

Intel said its new tagline will be "Intel. Leap ahead." It will replace the "Intel Inside" phrase and four-note jingle that had made the chipmaker one of the world’s most recognizable brands.

It will be interesting to see their full strategy as they roll it out and what online branding tactics they will deploy.
