Investor’s Daily says 45% of America’s largest public companies have corporate blogs
Investors Business Daily says:
Blogs are moving beyond personal musings and taking on a new role: corporate communications. A growing number of businesses are using the blog format to promote products, interact with customers and shareholders, conduct market research and distribute company announcements.
Whether you call them business blogs, corporate blogs or marketing blogs they are becoming an accepted part of Internet Marketing Strategy.
Jennifer Rice of Brand Mantra calls them
a concept that’s really quite a strategic/culture shift for companies
IBD says they estimate that 45% of the 1000 largest public companies are blogging.
The trickle down into the next layer is happening, but slowly.

I’ve suggested blogging as a part of our marketing plan, and as an internal tool. I’m sure others are doing the same. I just wish there was more ROI data available
