November 23, 2005 by Sally Falkow

Content feed buttons are an important part of the strategy

Cashing in on the fast user adoption of RSS content feeds, Google has an RSS reader. Now there is an easy Add to Google button you can put on your site wherever you have an RSS button.

You should be using every possible method available to entice your readers to subsribe to your content.

  1. Make the content valuable
  2. Make it easy to subscribe
  3. Tell them why they should subscribe with RSS
  4. Tell them how to subscribe to your feeds
  5. Offer all the major ‘easy add’ buttons: My Yahoo, My MSN, Add to Google, Bloglines
