A full house shows strong interest in Internet marketing strategies for 2006
It takes some motivation to brave the early morning LA traffic to the Westside.
Over 100 people showed up for the Socal AMA’s Internet Marketing Intensive on Thursday – a clear indication this is a subject of interest to the Los Angeles business community. Attendees covered the full spectrum – PR and marketing agencies, SEO’s, single owner entrepreneurs, Fortune 500 companies and even entertainment giants like Disney were there.
I delivered the keynote address – an overview of why you need an Internet marketing strategy and what the elements of a successl strategy are. I will post the slides early next week.
The first panel was very interactive and they were polling the audience live and online during the one and half hour session. Moderated by Steve Bradbury of GoTV networks the panel covered what’s hot and what’s not -= and looked at what’s next. A disturbing prediciton from Bruce Clay – when search becomes very personalized SEO will be impossible.
The seminar used IntroNetworks, a cool tool to register all attendees and help them network with one another.
There aren’t many Internet marketing, blogging, RSS events in LA. Nice to see the AMA bring some of the world class speakers to the local market.
