Using editorial to promote products can be pretty effective if done correctly.

Custom pubs are a great idea.  Another way to use editorial content is to get it into the news engines and new sites.  But it has to be good news content – not thinly disguised sales content.

The growth of online news search has given marketers a huge opportunity – but unless your content is well written newsworthy editorial of value, it won’t do you any good.
