Corporate Blogs as internet marketing strategy

January 3, 2005 by Sally Falkow

Latest study shows fast pace of blog growth

The Pew Internet and American Life Project  reports that more web users are reading blogs  for news and information. By the end of 2004 blogs had established themselves as a key part of online culture

Blog readership jumped 58 percent.  Now  27 percent (32 million) read blogs  up from 17 percent in February ’04

Almost two thirds of those surveyed said they don’t differentiate between a blog and a website – it’s all websites to them.

So the new format of a corporate blogsite is spot on.

A blogsite will deliver good content to your users in a format they are used to. And it will get you excellent visibility and brand awareness online.

A a no-brainer if you want to increase the effectiveness of your Internet marketing strategy in 2005!
